Bit-Perfect Audio Detector

com.bitperfect.detector

Bit-Perfect Audio Detector checks if your Android phone supports native bit-perfect and Hi-Res audio over USB DACs. Since Android 14, bit-perfect playback is officially supported, but only if the phone manufacturer enables it, and it's hard to know which phones do before buying one. The app reads your phone's audio configuration, shows the maximum resolution it offers with and without a DAC, and lists the music apps that use Android's native bit-perfect mode. You can also send an anonymous report to a public table of phones. A USB DAC is optional: the app works without one, and with a DAC it gives a definitive result. Free, open source (GPL v3) and with no ads. Requires Android 14 or later.
